Introduction

The TWCBM believes the Bible is the standard for faith and life. In obedience to the Lord's command that believers should be Christ's witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth, we are assured that the Holy Spirit will empower us to fulfill God's work.

 

 

Objective

To unite Chinese Baptist Conventions, Baptist churches and mission organizations  from various parts of the world in order to further enhance the task of missions. We believe that only through unity in the body of Christ, we can fulfill the responsibilities  of world evangelism. 

 

 

 

Functions

1. Relationship :

To liaise with the mission department of conventions, to coordinate the ministries of intercession,

encouragement and experience sharing. 

 

2. Information :

   Mission information and contacts are shared via regular meetings and mission newsletter.

 

3. Support :

Utilize the resources of the local convention, foreign mission board, churches and seminaries, etc for

mutual support in missions.

 

4. Caring :

Provide the necessary care for missionaries and service as the need arises.

 

5. Future Prospect:

Explore and set up mission strategies in assisting various areas to start mission points.

 

6. Mission Conference:

Organizing triennial mission conference in different places with the aim do mobilizing all the Chinese

Baptist churches worldwide for the combined effort of continuing the mission.

 

Our Work:

 

   <Adoption and Prayer

Identifying and adopting mission fields for churches to involve in church planting, discipleship, financial

support and community service.

 

   <Research on Unreached People Groups

Conducting research on the unreached people groups, and mobilizing churches and workers to each out

to the UPGs.

 

   <Publishing Newsletter

Publishing the Mission Newsletter to provide information on missions for vision sharing.

 

   <Mission Trip

Conducting Mission trips to the adopted mission field to teach, train, care, disciples and pray. 

 

   <Missionaries

Recommend and send missionaries to the adopted mission fields through partnership with the Baptist

Conventions and churches.

 

   <Vision Sharing

   Sharing of vision through newsletters, seminars, revival meetings, etc and challenging more churches

   and believers to become active partners in the work of missions.
