Text Box: Sikkim Christian Ministry
There is only one denominational Bible school. There are many house churches in Sikkim. The Presbyterian Church is the oldest church in Sikkim. They did not pursue evangelism in previous years. Now they do little evangelism. 90% of Christian churches are independent.

Problems and needs in Sikkim.
In many churches, pastors and leaders are not trained.
There are very few full time workers. (The Church could not afford financially to support the workers.)
A Bible school is needed.
Christian Leadership seminars are needed.
Christian Literature is needed. (the Lepchas do not have a complete Holy Bible, only the New Testament.)
Ministry to Children and Women is lacking.
Many house churches need church building. Government will not register church land for church buildings. They only can register under the name of individuals.
